Here are a few recommendations for places to stay near the Conference.
Portland is becoming incredibly busy during the summer, so make sure to book your rooms as soon as possible as they are very likely to sell out.
If you’d like to share a room with another conference guest, fill out this form and we’ll try to match you up.
The Hilton is located right in the center of downtown Portland.
It’s just 1 block away from where the Conference is taking place and about a 10 minute walk away from the Workshop (see map below).
$199 / night
This rate is only available until
July 9th or when rooms sell out.

Portland State University Housing
The Broadway Dorm building on the PSU campus is about a 10-15 minute walk away from the Conference, and about a 5 minute walk from the Workshop (see map below).
This is very likely the most affordable lodging you will find in downtown Portland, but keep in mind that it is a dorm building, not a hotel. There are sheets, blankets, and towels, but there are a number of other standard hotel amenities and services you won’t get here.
Things to keep in mind: There is no air conditioning. There are no queen beds, only twins. There are no toiletries (other than a bar of soap). There is no professional cleaning service, it’s all student run.
$68 / night (a room with two twin beds)
Dorm rooms can only be booked until July 9th.
To Book the PSU Dorms:
When you hit the “Housing preference” field, choose “single room – Broadway,” not “Ondine.”
